The History of TEDMED Engineering and Projects

I worked in the industry for the first time as a Biomedical Technician in 2007, after I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering Technology.  I was trained and certified to service medical devices, perform safety checks, and quality checks.

I later worked for a non-profit hospital, Children Healthcare of Atlanta, while pursuing my Master of Science in Engineering Management with Specialization in project management in 2011.  Right after receiving my masters, I pursued a Doctor of Science in Business Administration with specialization in Healthcare Administration for 5 years.

I founded TEDMED Engineering in 2011, as an engineering firm servicing clinics, urgent cares, and clinical research sites within the community. I was a full-time employee, and I also managed my consulting firm as a side career.  I validated devices used for clinical research, and for daily patient care. I also performed calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

I have worked in the industry for 16 years with experience in Life Science, Biotechnology, and Pharma, working with Sponsors, Clinical Research Organization (CRO) for drug and medical device trials. I also have Pharma CDMO, and CMO  regulatory compliance and validation experience.

In the last 11 years, my experience has been centered on clinical research in both medical devices and therapeutic drugs, quality data management, CFR 11 computerized systems  validation, GMP validation, project management and regulatory submissions.

I have experience from preclinical testing, FDA roadmap to submission, phase I, II, III and IV.

I currently worked in Life Science, Research and Development managing Robotic Cell Separation devices used for preclinical testing in many different clinical research sites.

I also work as contract Senior Clinical Research Associate, also known as a Monitor.

My educational background and experience in project management and my roles as a Senior CRA also paved the way for me to also take contracts as a Clinical Research Project Manager.

As a consultant and independent contractor under my LLC, TEDMED Engineering & Projects, I have taken on many roles in clinical research.

With my educational background in Biomedical Engineering, Project management, Engineering Management and 16 years working experience in the industry, I have contracted and consulted with many sponsors and CRO as a consultant and a contractor and I looked forward to applying my knowledge to run  TMEP's newest clinical research site "TMEP DIVINITY Research center.
